Direct sales to individuals for both new products and repairs are welcomed and encouraged. FLT also offers dealer programs to retail shops that meet minimum stipulations including proof of business. We are committed to providing you with exceptional, personal customer service and satisfaction.

Terms of Payment
Any transmission orders taken from Finish Line Transmissions are required a 50% down payment remitted by means of Cashier's Check, PayPal, Visa, Master Card, or Discover (U.S. ONLY). All International transmission orders must have payment remitted by means of bank wire transfer or PayPal and must be prepaid in full. Under no circumstances will exceptions to these terms be granted.

Shipping

All transmissions are shipped via truck freight either to a business or freight service center. No residential delivery allowed.

Starting 9/1/08 Finish Line Transmissions will pickup the freight charges for your core return!  We will pass along our discounted rates for shipping your new transmission to a business location or closest freight terminal to your zip code.

Return/Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations on transmission orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee once order is processed.  Any non-stocking items such as custom built transmissions may not be returned. Finish Line Transmissions accepts no responsibility for freight charges on any transmissions returned for repair or upgrades.

Core Charges
If you choose at the time of purchase NOT to return your old transmission a core charge ( see list below ) will be added to your invoice. No core charge/deposit is required if you agree to exchange your old transmission with us within 30 days, and that it has been inspected and determined to be rebuildable. If your core is determined NOT rebuilable a partcial core charge will be applied. All core returns must be of the same configuration as the transmission purchased.

Core Returns
Once you have received your new FLT transmission:

1. DRAIN YOUR OLD TRANSMISSION OF FLUID!  ( PLEASE ).
2. Place old transmission in the FLT shipping crate ( WITHOUT OLD CONVERTER ).
3. Secure your core into the crate with the two supplied straps.
4. Place crate lid on and secure with the four supplied clips.
5. Call ANDY RIZZO at Finish Line Transmissions @ 630-350-7776 to schedule your core pickup.

The condition of the core unit is very important. The core unit must be rebuildable. Make sure the unit is not missing any internal parts, bell-housing, tail-housing, fittings or bolts, and be sure the case isn't damaged or broken.

Warranty
Finish Line Transmissions' limited warranty covers all new products for six (6) months from the date of purchase; and all repair service for thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase. Finish Line Transmissions' sole obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or replace, at its option, the defective parts at no charge to the customer. More »

Liability
In no manner, neither written nor implied, does Finish Line Transmissions accept liability for consequential or incidental damages to person or property resulting from the use or misuse of its products. Product failure occurring within the stipulations of the warranty policy will be dealt with explicitly under those particular guidelines.
